Skoda Auto India has added a new Sportline variant to the Kylaq lineup. The new version gives the compact SUV a darker and sportier appearance while keeping the same engine and mechanical setup. With prices starting at Rs 11.32 lakh ex-showroom the Sportline becomes the seventh variant in the Kylaq range.
Skoda Kylaq Sportline: Exterior Design
The Kylaq Sportline gets several blacked-out elements that make it look more aggressive. The ORVMs are finished in Deep Black while the front and rear diffusers get a glossy black finish.
There is also a Deep Black dual-tone floating roof along with 17-inch black alloy wheels. Black branding has been added to the tailgate too.
Other styling touches include a Sportline badge, a rear spoiler with finlets and graphics on the C-pillars. LED projector headlamps are also included.
Darker Cabin With More Features
The sporty theme continues inside the cabin. The roof dashboard and door trims get a darker finish. Leatherette seats come with Sportline branding and contrast stitching.
The equipment list includes aluminium pedals, ambient lighting, wireless charging and an electric sunroof. Skoda also offers its 25.6cm touchscreen infotainment system and a 20.32cm Virtual Cockpit.
Climatronic automatic AC adds more convenience for daily driving.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline: Engine And Performance
There are no mechanical updates with the Sportline version. It continues with the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine.
Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Skoda has not mentioned a different engine tune for this variant so the power and torque figures remain unchanged from the standard Kylaq.
Safety Features Remain Strong
Safety continues to be an important part of the Kylaq package. The Sportline retains the SUV’s 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and comes with six airbags.
It also gets the wider set of active and passive safety features available across the range.
Skoda is offering its Super Care package with the Sportline. This includes a four-year standard warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four labour-free services.
Optional Sportline Accessories
For buyers who want an even darker look Skoda is offering a separate Sportline accessories pack.
It adds exterior details such as a dark-chrome grille garnish, fender garnish and glossy black body-side mouldings. These additions give owners more ways to personalize the SUV.

Lower Variants Get Updates Too
The Sportline launch also brings some useful changes to the lower Kylaq variants. The Classic and Classic+ trims now get Climatronic automatic AC and a rear defogger.
That means the updates are not limited to the new sporty version. Even buyers choosing the entry-level trims now get a little more equipment for their money.
