Suzuki V-Strom SX Colour Option Launched In India, Check Price And Details

Suzuki Motorcycle India has added a new Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray colour option to the V-Strom SX. The adventure tourer is priced at Rs 2,02,118 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new shade also gets revised graphics, while the motorcycle itself remains unchanged in terms of design, performance and features.

The new colour joins the existing options, including Champion Yellow No. 2 + Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Glacier White + Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Glass Sparkle Black.

Suzuki is also offering an assured Rs 5,000 Rynox apparel voucher with every V-Strom SX purchase. Customers can avail loans of up to 100%, with interest rates starting at 6.99%, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Deepak Mutreja, Vice President (Sales & Marketing), Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said the new colour gives riders another option to personalise the motorcycle while retaining its adventure-touring character and versatility.

Suzuki V-Strom SX: Engine And Hardware

The Suzuki V-Strom SX continues with its 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled SOHC engine. It produces 26.5hp at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm, with power sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle gets a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, along with 205mm of ground clearance and dual-channel ABS. Its beak-style front-end design, slim chassis and upright riding position give it the look and riding stance expected from an adventure tourer.

Features On The V-Strom SX

The V-Strom SX comes with LED lighting, Suzuki Easy Start System and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect. It also gets a windscreen, knuckle covers, a USB charging outlet and a rear carrier.

Suzuki is currently conducting its second V-Strom SX Expedition to Ladakh. The expedition began on September 29 and will continue until October 9. Starting from Delhi, the route covers Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso and Hanle.

Suzuki V-Strom SX Rivals

The V-Strom SX competes with the Hero Xpulse 210, priced between Rs 1.68 lakh and Rs 1.77 lakh, and the TVS Apache RTX 300, which ranges from Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.39 lakh.

It also goes up against the recently launched Honda XR300L, priced at Rs 1.83 lakh, and the Honda XR300 Rally, which costs Rs 2.08 lakh.
